Match or Green tea is an acquired taste. At least that was
the case for me! I absolutely hated it about 5 yrs back ,used to wonder how
people can eat this weird green colour tea, that too flavor your cakes and
bakes with that!! My liking started with Green tea ice creams and mochi, slowly
moved on to cakes, cheese cakes, chocolates and now I am absolutely addicted!
I
am soo glad I am born after Green tea was discovered..how would I have lived
without it!!!
Due to my green tea syndrome
I have been making anything and everything with Matcha Green tea..From chiffon cakes to cupcakes to ice creams to jelly and
now to Fudge. Now this one is going to be sweet, probably you will end up in a
sugar coma! So stick to one at a time!
Matcha White Chocolate Fudge with Red Bean Filling
1 tspn Matcha Powder
2 tbspn Red bean paste for
filling
Directions
Melt the white chocolate on a
double boiler.
Once it starts to melt, whisk until
the chocolate is melted completely.
Add the matcha powder and
whisk well
Pour ½ tbspn of white chocolate
to a cupcake mold, pipe in some red paste
followed by another tbspn of white chocolate.
Refrigerate for few hours.
Now bite into heavenly
sweetness!
