dinner to enhance digestion and better absorption of nutrients by the body tissues.
So say bye bye to bloating and try this soothing sweet n hot ginger candy.
Home-made Ginger Candy
Ingredients
½ Cup Sliced Ginger
1/3 Cup rock Sugar 1/3 Cup water 2-3 tbspn Sugar for coating.
Directions
In a large pot add the sliced ginger, sugar and water and
simmer for 30-40 minutes.
Once the syrup has reduced and thickened, switch off the flame and let it cool down a bit. Sieve the warm mix and let it drain for few minutes. Add two table spoon sugar to the ginger and mix well and spread it on a baking tray Place it in 120 degrees preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the candy harden slightly Spread the candy on a wire rack and let it cool. Once it is cooled , it will harden more. Now you can enjoy the sweet and hot candy. |

Hey Krithi..Rock Sugar is Kalkand..You can get it in most Asian grocery shops.Its easier to digest and not as processed as the normal white sugar
